I am a writer based on the north coast of Cornwall. I was the creator of the popular (but now defunct) blog 365 Bad Jokes, which gained nearly 100,000 followers in its three years of life.
A diehard fan of bad puns, I subsequently took that a step too far by creating The Miserables, an Edinburgh Fringe show that used rewritten songs from Les Miserables to tell the story of a group of office workers who hated their jobs.
After a short hiatus to move from my birthplace of Watford to my adopted home of Cornwall, I signed a two-book deal with Amazon Publishing. The first of these books, Happy Happy Happy, was released in 2022, with Ready For It following in 2023.
My work has also been heard on BBC Radio 4 Extra, and featured in Mslexia, The Overtake, and Refinery29.
I am currently working on a new theatre project to come in 2025, as well as a new novel.
When I’m not writing I can usually be found running, gig rowing, working on my allotment, or watching TV while simultaneously scrolling on my phone.
